Who We Are?
Annette has worked in the Water Industry for over 25 years across a variety of roles including Emergency Planning, Account Management, Industrial Waste and Water Quality.
Whilst in Severn Trent Water, Annette developed the Company's emergency planning strategy for hospitals in the millennium and produced a Water Industry best practice guidance video. She was later appointed the Civil Contingencies Adviser to the Company integrating with Local Resilience Forums across the region and worked with a wide range of emergency responders.
In 2007 Annette left Severn Trent to set up her own business. She has since executed multi agency emergency planning and incident management training and exercises across a variety of Water Companies, including Essex & Suffolk, Northumbrian, Portsmouth, Thames and Welsh Water. More recently she has led an emergency planning review in the Water Industry on behalf of DEFRA.
Annette is an Annual Return, Business Plan and SEMD Auditor.She is also a National Water Hygiene trainer and qualified NVQ Assessor and has actively been involved in developing new industry qualifications with the awarding body CABWI.
Annette has developed expertise outside of the water industry and worked with the Lawn Tennis Association and Food Standards Agency. She is actively involved in community resilience in the Worcestershire area following the summer floods of 2007 and runs the Sedgeberrow Flood Group and Isbourne Catchment Group.
